Make the Most of your Mornings Challenge (w/MoneySavingMom.com)

Aug 17, 2012 ~ Leave a Comment ~ Written by Daphne

Gah, another day of late to bed and late to rise.  It’s probably got a lot to do with the fact that I’ve really had no motivation lately.  For a couple of weeks, I had tons of stuff to do and not enough time to do it all.  However, these past few days, it seems like I’ve got nothing to do and all the time in the world to sit around and be lazy.

My Day 4 Project Update

Bedtime: Late, again, by an hour.  Phooey.

My Top 5 Evening Must Do’s: These actually got done.

Wake Up Time: Late by an hour and a half again. Boo.

Day 5 Project

1. Did you determine your bedtime and 5 Evening Must-Do’s?
Check.

2. Did you determine what time you’re going to commit to waking up every morning for the next three weeks? Check.

3. If you haven’t done so already, pick 1-5 goals that you’d like to accomplish in the next year. Take some time this weekend to break those goals down into monthly and weekly goals. Then, come back on Monday where we’ll be talking more about making a daily to-do list, how to incorporate your bite-sized goals into it, and how to not overload your to-do list. I’ll also be sharing some helpful tips, printables, and resources to help you create and follow through with your daily to-do list.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve been too lenient on my next day’s to-do lists and should be trying harder to do more so I’m more productive. I think making those goals will help to direct me in a way that I can concentrate my energy on something rather than just be a bum, all loosey goosey.

For the goals, I’ll have to think it over for the weekend and really stretch my imagination and see where I get with those.  I look forward to the challenge!
